Favorite Daughter

An innovative collection of tunes that explore improvisation on a structural level. Inspired largely by the post-bop music of the '60s, these tunes provide a dynamic range of harmonic options—from soloing over the form, to modal explorations based on key centers, harmonic substitutions, or entirely free sections with no predetermined changes.

The album showcases the intersection of composition and improvisation, blending structured writing with spontaneous exploration to create a vibrant, cohesive body of work.
